Sliding Fee Scale: Yes, RAAP does not turn anyone away based on inability to pay for services. Fees for individual and group counseling are based on sliding fee scales. However, RAAP does not require proof of income. The sliding scale for individual counseling ranges from $1-$70 and group counseling is $1-$30. RAAP also accepts Crime Victim Compensation as a method of payment for counseling service. RAAP does not currently accept any health insurance benefits. However, for those clients who want to utilize their insurance based, mental health benefits, RAAP will work to connect them with appropriate referrals.

Specialization: 16-week adult women’s rape survivor group, 24-week adult women’s childhood sexual abuse (incest) survivor group, Teen group for adolescent females, African American women’s group, Monolingual Spanish-speaking women’s group, English-speaking Latina group.
Notes: Our Rape Crisis Hotlines provide crisis intervention, referrals and information on issues concerning sexual assault and sexual abuse. Other services include Victim Advocacy and Case Management, and a variety of counseling options. RAAP counsels female and male rape and incest survivors who are ages 13 and older throughout Metro-Denver via three offices: downtown Denver, southeast suburbs and north suburbs. Free child care is available at our downtown Denver office and transportation to and from counseling is available for all three offices.

Jefferson County Domestic Violence – Legal Info. and Counseling for Victims of Family Violence

Legal information and counseling are provided for victims of family violence. Counseling is

provided by volunteer attorneys on divorce issues, restraining orders, court procedures, etc.

Clinic hours are the first and third Wednesdays of every month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A daily

restraining order clinic is available at the Jefferson County Courthouse.

Wings is a non-profit organization that works to break the cycle and heal the wounds of childhood sexual abuse by providing support services, education, and advocacy to adults throughout Colorado. We currently have 16 groups. Thirteen of the groups are women only and one of those is for Spanish speaking women. Three of the groups are men only. We have 2 groups in Colorado Springs, 1 in Aurora, 3 Denver groups, 1 Boulder group, 3 Lakewood groups, 1 Littleton group, 1 Northglenn group that are all for women. We have a S. Denver men’s group, a Lakewood men’s group, and a central Denver men’s group. All of our groups meet weekly for 2 hours at a time.

Notes: To get into a group each person needs to call the number and do a 20 – 30 minute phone intake so that we can see if a support group is a good fit for their needs.
